Western Copper and Gold posted an IFRS net loss of CAD 1.67 million for the three months ended June 30, 2026, widening from CAD 627,995.
Loss per share widened to CAD 0.01 from CAD 0.00, while corporate expenses climbed to CAD 2.64 million from CAD 2.06 million.
Cash and assets rise
Cash and cash equivalents rose to CAD 58.03 million at June 30, 2026 from CAD 22.26 million at Dec. 31, 2025.
Short-term investments increased to CAD 70.61 million from CAD 28.27 million, while the exploration and evaluation asset grew to CAD 153.14 million from CAD 144.29 million.
Six-month loss increases
For the six months ended June 30, net loss widened to CAD 4.21 million from CAD 1.27 million, with loss per share increasing to CAD 0.02 from CAD 0.01.
