Western Midstream takes stake in Solitude Pipeline System JV
Western Midstream took a 7.5% stake in the WhiteWater-operated Solitude Pipeline System joint venture, backing two 48-inch Permian-to-Katy gas pipelines.
Owners reached a positive final investment decision, supported by long-term firm transportation contracts with mostly investment-grade shippers.
Initial capacity is set at 2.25 Bcf/d in late 2029, rising by another 2.25 Bcf/d in 2030, with expansion optional.
Western Midstream also secured firm transportation on Solitude, adding Delaware Basin residue takeaway and improving flow assurance for customers.
