Western Uranium & Vanadium targets end-2026 filing for Mustang uranium-vanadium mill license in Colorado
Project design and operating plans
Mustang is planned at 1,000 tons per day, using modular construction once permitted.
The design includes toll-milling capacity alongside company ore, with the goal of adding recurring processing revenue.
Environmental baseline work continues
Baseline air monitoring has been completed through June 2026, and water data collection is expected to finish in early October 2026.
Mustang mill licensing timetable advances
Western Uranium & Vanadium moved closer to licensing the Mustang Mineral Processing Plant at Colorado’s former Pinon Ridge Mill site.
The company said the radioactive materials license application is targeted for submission by end-2026, setting up a Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment review through 2027.
