Westhaven Mobilizes Fifth Drill Rig for 15,000m Program; Eloro Begins Iska Iska Expansion
SO•SO has mobilized a fifth drill rig to the Shovelnose property for a 15,000m exploration program from mid-July through mid-December, and its 35,000m infill drilling campaign is over 50% complete with results such as 9.8m at 8.3 g/t Au and 11 g/t Ag confirming continuity in the South Zone deposit. SO has launched an expansion diamond drilling program at its Iska Iska project targeting expansion and upgrade of 85.17 million tonnes of Indicated and 945.43 million tonnes of Inferred resources from its April 2026 mineral resource estimate.
1. Westhaven Starts 15,000m Exploration and Advances Infill Drilling
The company has mobilized a fifth drill rig to its Shovelnose property and will execute a 15,000m exploration drilling program from mid-July through mid-December, alongside ongoing prospecting, geological mapping and soil sampling at Prospect Valley and Shovelnose. Its 35,000m resource infill drilling program is now over 50% complete, with assays including 9.8m at 8.3 g/t Au and 11 g/t Ag confirming continuity within the South Zone deposit.
2. Eloro Launches Expansion Drilling at Iska Iska
Eloro has commenced an expansion diamond drilling program at its Iska Iska project as part of the Preliminary Economic Assessment process following its April 2026 mineral resource estimate. The program aims to expand and upgrade 85.17 million tonnes of Indicated and 945.43 million tonnes of Inferred resources.
