EXIM backs financing for Kellyton Graphite Plant

Westwater Resources secured EXIM backing for a USD 25 million direct loan to fund development of its Kellyton Graphite Plant in Alabama.

Proceeds are earmarked for construction, equipment installation, commissioning, and operational readiness. Commercial production is targeted for 2027.

The financing is structured under EXIM’s Make More in America Initiative. J.P. Morgan acted as arranger and structuring agent.

The loan remains subject to definitive documentation and customary closing conditions.
