Whitehawk Therapeutics says Phase 1 trial tests HWK-016 MUC16-targeted ADC in ovarian, endometrial cancers
WHWK•Whitehawk Therapeutics said HWK-016, its MUC16-targeted ADC, is in a Phase 1 trial for advanced ovarian and endometrial cancers, backed by two real-world analyses slated for presentation at IGCS 2026.
1. Analyses support target
Two real-world analyses found that MUC16 levels stayed broadly stable through standard treatments and that high MUC16 expression was linked with worse real-world survival in high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma. The findings support MUC16’s prognostic relevance and underpin development of HWK-016, which is being tested in a Phase 1 trial in advanced ovarian and endometrial cancers.
