World Health Organization technical advisory group recommends Ervebo vaccine to be evaluated in a vaccine trial for Bundibugyo virus disease in the DRC.
WHO said experts note efficacy of Ervebo against BVD disease and transmission still need to be proven, and a specific Bundibugyo vaccine remains the preferred option.
