Wiley publishes FY26 TCFD report
WLY•Wiley’s FY2026 climate risk assessment found no climate-related risks or opportunities above its financial materiality thresholds. It reported 79,048 tCO₂e in location-based emissions and 78,077 tCO₂e market-based emissions, with Scope 3 accounting for about 97% of the footprint.
1. Climate assessment and targets
Wiley said its scenario analysis, spanning 1.5°C to above 3°C, indicated its strategy remains resilient, supported by a predominantly digital model and diversified operations. It reaffirmed targets to cut Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by FY2030 and reduce emissions in key Scope 3 categories by 50%. Its FY2040 net-zero goal targets a 90% reduction across Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions from the FY2020 baseline.
