Winchester Bancorp returns to profit in FY26, posts net income of $4.4 million

Winchester Bancorp posted fiscal 2026 net income of $4.4 million, swinging from a $874,000 net loss a year earlier; EPS was $0.49.
Net interest income climbed 42.6% to $25 million; net interest margin widened 50 basis points to 2.55%.
Total assets rose 15.4% to $1.1 billion; net loans increased 15.9% to $870.8 million, led by residential and multifamily growth.
Deposits grew 19.1% to $809.2 million, driven by $135.6 million of municipal deposit inflows that lifted money market balances.
CEO John A. Carroll cited “impressive” loan and deposit growth in the first full year as a public company, pointing to improved profitability and efficiency.
