WM Technology unit Ghost Management Group agrees to pay $32.4 million to exit Los Angeles lease early
MAPS•Ghost Management Group will pay a $32.4 million termination fee in 53 monthly installments to end its Los Angeles lease early. The unit also signed a 114-month lease for 26,223 square feet in Austin, with estimated base rent totaling $14.3 million.
1. Los Angeles lease termination
WM Technology unit Ghost Management Group terminated its lease at 767 S. Alameda St. in Los Angeles, which was originally set to run through February 2031. The termination became effective Oct. 7, 2026, after the landlord signed a replacement tenant, and the unit will pay a $32.4 million fee in 53 monthly installments starting in October 2026.
2. New Austin lease
The unit signed a lease for 26,223 square feet in Austin, starting no earlier than Feb. 1, 2027, and running for 114 months. Estimated base rent totals $14.3 million; the lease includes a tenant improvement allowance of up to $1.7 million and an initial standby letter of credit of about $0.8 million.
