Workday introduced Sana for IT Service Management, automating tasks from employee on-boarding to password resets across HR, finance and IT, and launched a Travel Agent that handles planning, booking and automatic expense coding. Sana for ITSM reaches early adopters in H2 2026, and Travel Agent is available now.

Workday introduced two new AI agents: Sana for IT Service Management to automate HR, finance and IT support workflows, and a Travel Agent to unify travel planning, booking and expense management within a single conversational platform.
2. Sana for IT Service Management Details
Sana for ITSM automates end-to-end service tasks from hire to retire, handling equipment provisioning, access changes, password resets and offboarding in real time using Workday’s organizational data, approval chains and governance models.
3. Travel Agent Features
The Travel Agent coordinates schedules, enforces policy-based booking for flights and hotels, and automatically generates and codes expenses, leveraging Workday context to process more than 5 million monthly expense reports seamlessly.
4. Availability and Outlook
Travel Agent is available to early adopter customers immediately, while Sana for ITSM will enter early access in the second half of 2026 with general availability scheduled later that year.
