Workhorse says Gateway Fleets orders 200 W56 electric step vans
WKHS•Workhorse received an order from Gateway Fleets for 200 W56 electric step vans, expanding an earlier 2026 order for 100 trucks. Deployments are expected to start in the second half of 2027, with deliveries continuing through 2028.

Workhorse said Gateway Fleets placed a follow-on purchase order for 200 fully electric W56 step vans. The order expands Gateway’s earlier 2026 order for 100 W56 trucks; the vehicles will be bought through Kingsburg Truck Center for leasing customers. Workhorse expects deployments to start in the second half of 2027, with deliveries continuing through 2028.
