Wynnchurch Capital agreed to sell FloWorks to Ferguson Enterprises in a cash deal valuing FloWorks at about $1.6 billion.
Clearlake Capital held a minority stake in FloWorks following its 2023 sale to Wynnchurch.
Wynnchurch bought FloWorks in January 2023; the business grew into a specialty distribution platform generating more than $1 billion in annual revenue.
