Xanadu Quantum Technologies partners with GlobalFoundries to scale photonic quantum chip manufacturing
XNDU•Xanadu entered a multi-year strategic partnership with GlobalFoundries to scale manufacturing for photonic quantum computing, including production of single-photon detectors on GlobalFoundries’ 300 mm line in Malta, New York.
1. Manufacturing partnership
Xanadu and GlobalFoundries plan to move production of superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors from lab prototyping to GlobalFoundries’ 300 mm manufacturing line in Malta, New York. The collaboration also aims to scale Xanadu’s ultra-low-loss silicon nitride photonics platform and develop high-performance quantum modules.
