Xcel Energy shares rose 4.3% in premarket trading after the utility beat third-quarter profit estimates. Increased recovery of electric infrastructure investments drove the beat, partially offset by higher financing costs. The company issued its first 2027 adjusted earnings forecast of $4.48 to $4.62 per share and narrowed its 2026 ongoing earnings outlook to $4.10 to $4.16 per share.
