XCharge Launches GridOne 125 kW/215 kWh PV-ESS with 50 kW PV MPPT
XCH•XCharge unveiled GridOne, a 125 kW PCS/215 kWh LFP all-in-one PV-ESS system with optional 50 kW PV MPPT for commercial, industrial and EV charging sites, supporting peak shaving, grid-tied and off-grid modes. The launch expands XCharge’s portfolio from DC chargers to integrated storage solutions targeting photovoltaics, load management and grid stabilization.
1. GridOne Launch and Overview
XCharge introduced GridOne at EES Europe in Munich, marking its entry into the energy storage market. The all-in-one PV-ESS system complements the company’s DC fast chargers and underscores its evolution into integrated energy and charging solutions.
2. Technical Specifications
GridOne combines 125 kW of PCS power with a 215 kWh LFP battery and optional 50 kW PV MPPT in a single compact unit. It offers Ethernet, Modbus TCP/RTU, RS485, CAN, cloud connectivity and OCPP 1.6J support, enabling scalable multi-unit deployments.
3. Applications and Benefits
Designed for commercial and industrial sites, GridOne supports peak shaving, PV self-consumption, EV charging load buffering, back-up power and microgrid scenarios. It operates in grid-tied or off-grid modes, helping users reduce peak loads, optimize solar usage and defer costly grid upgrades.
4. Strategic Expansion
By launching GridOne, XCharge broadens its portfolio beyond fast chargers to a complete energy ecosystem that includes photovoltaics, storage and site energy management. This strategic move builds on its recent EnBW fast-charging listing and positions the company for growth in the integrated energy solutions market.
