Xenon posted a Q2 net loss of USD 110.7 million, widening from USD 84.7 million a year earlier.
R&D costs rose to USD 99.2 million from USD 75 million, driven by Phase 3 azetukalner programs, Phase 1 pain studies, manufacturing, and headcount.
G&A spending climbed to USD 23.9 million from USD 19.2 million, on higher headcount plus professional and consulting fees.
Other income increased to USD 11.8 million from USD 8.9 million, reflecting higher interest income.
Cash position and azetukalner update
Cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities totaled USD 1.25 billion.
The NDA for azetukalner in focal onset seizures remains on track for Q3 2026.
