Follow-on order expands Xcel Energy deployment

Xos won a follow-on order from Xcel Energy for three Xos Hub mobile energy storage and DC fast-charging systems.

Two units will support fleet EV charging at Xcel Energy service centers in Arvada and Grand Junction, Colorado. A third unit will provide temporary EV charging for customers during a Denver-area grid construction project.

The order expands a 2024 deployment of two Hub units; Xcel Energy’s Colorado unit has delivered about 33,000 kWh to date.
