Xpeng CEO He Xiaopeng outlined a strategy to open proprietary technologies to global partners at the 2026 Paris Automotive Summit. The company targets global expansion of its NGP intelligent-driving technology in 2027 and IRON humanoid robot mass production in late 2026.

1. Technology and rollout plans

Xpeng’s AI Engineering initiative offers vehicle technologies and engineering capabilities for joint product development while helping partners build independent capabilities. NGP intelligent-driving technology is targeted for global market expansion in 2027. IRON mass production is targeted for late 2026, with initial deliveries planned for the first half of 2027 and a European rollout planned for the second half of 2027.
