XPO rises after topping quarterly profit estimates

Total revenue for the quarter ended June 30 rose 13.2% to $2.36 billion, beating the estimate of $2.28 billion.

Shares rise after second-quarter profit beat
Shares of logistics firm XPO were up nearly 3% at $204.89 in premarket trading after the company beat Wall Street estimates for second-quarter profit, driven by improved operating efficiency in its North American less-than-truckload business.
The company reported adjusted profit of $1.70 per share, above analysts' average estimate of $1.47 per share, according to data compiled by LSEG.
