Xtant Medical Launches Pre-Shaped Boat and Strip Trivium Grafts Nationwide
Xtant Medical Holdings has launched Trivium Shaped, a pre-shaped bone graft in boat and strip formats designed to streamline surgical workflow and reduce preparation time. The product, building on April 2025’s sculptable Trivium format, employs PureLoc technology to produce uniform cortical fibers in a composite allograft now available nationwide.
1. Product Launch and Formats
Xtant Medical has introduced Trivium Shaped, expanding its Trivium bone graft portfolio with ready-to-use boats and strips. These pre-shaped configurations are tailored to support handling, preparation and placement across diverse spinal and orthopedic surgical applications, aiming to enhance consistency and reduce intraoperative graft preparation time.
2. Technology and Differentiation
Trivium Shaped incorporates PureLoc™ technology, an automated demineralized bone matrix milling process that yields elongated, uniform cortical fibers. Combined with cancellous bone and DBM, the composite allograft maintains the performance characteristics of the Trivium platform while offering surgeons a standardized graft form.
3. Commercial Strategy and Distribution
Following the April 2025 launch of its sculptable Trivium format, Xtant Medical is rolling out Trivium Shaped through its national network of independent agents. The company anticipates that ready-to-use graft forms will drive surgeon adoption, improve operating room efficiency and support future revenue growth.
