- YD Bio launched a six-month pilot with Numia Health to build a cross-border workflow for physician-ordered blood-based cancer testing in British Columbia.
- The pilot targets up to 50 patient episodes in the Lower Mainland, with samples tested at EG BioMed US’s CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited lab in Bothell, Washington.
- The program will evaluate scalability, logistics, operational performance and patient experience for OkaiDx laboratory-developed tests.
- Any broader, non-exclusive commercial arrangement would depend on pilot results, with additional agreements required.
- OkaiDx tests are not cleared or approved by the FDA or Health Canada.
