The Houthis said they launched a ballistic missile attack on Saudi Arabia's Ras Tanura oil refinery, and military spokesperson Yahya Saree said it caused a fire at the site. Saudi authorities have not confirmed the attack.
The refinery is located on the Gulf west of the Strait of Hormuz. Nearly all of Saudi Arabia's oil exports flow through Ras Tanura and Yanbu on the Red Sea; the Houthis have attacked Yanbu in the past. A fire near the Ras Tanura oil terminal was reportedly contained in the early hours of Tuesday.
