Yiren Digital said Ning Tang, its executive chairman and CEO, is subject to criminal compulsory measures in connection with an investigation involving certain affiliates of the company’s controlling shareholder. The company said the investigation may impair Tang’s ability to perform his duties, that it has not received official notice regarding the investigation, and that its board and management will oversee operations and implement contingency plans.
