YPF agrees to sell stakes in Metrogas and Metroenergia
YPF accepted Edenor’s offer on Aug. 10, 2026, to buy its stakes in Metrogas and Metroenergia for USD 780 million.
The deal covers YPF’s 70% holding in Metrogas, resulting in a full exit from the gas distributor.
It also includes YPF’s 5% stake in Metroenergia, leaving YPF with no remaining interest in the company.
