YPF buys remaining 24.99% stake in YPF Luz for $430 million
YPF•YPF agreed to buy BNR Power Investments’ remaining 24.99% stake in YPF Luz for $430 million, which would raise its ownership from 75.01% to 100% if conditions are met.
1. Deal details
The purchase covers 237,499,943 Class B ordinary book-entry shares and is structured with financing from international sources. YPF Luz had 3,764 MW of installed capacity, including 2,740 MW of thermal capacity and 1,024 MW of renewables. For the 12 months ended June 2026, it reported adjusted EBITDA of $479 million and a net leverage ratio of 1.5x.
