Yuexin Semiconductor becomes first wafer manufacturer to list on ChiNext
SMH•Yuexin Semiconductor listed on Shenzhen’s ChiNext market on October 13, reaching a market capitalization of 111.68 billion yuan on its trading debut.
1. ChiNext debut
Yuexin Semiconductor, backed by Hefei Huadeng Fund, listed on Shenzhen’s ChiNext market on October 13. It became the market’s first listed wafer manufacturer and the first company to use ChiNext’s third listing standard after reforms in April 2026.
2. Foundry services
Yuexin was also the first unprofitable wafer manufacturer to list following the reforms. It provides customized 12-inch wafer foundry services.
