Yum China signs CNH 8.4 billion bridge loan with HSBC, Citi

Yum China entered a bridge credit agreement for a senior unsecured term loan facility with commitments of CNH 8.4 billion.
Lenders and availability
HSBC Bank USA and Citibank NA, Hong Kong Branch are lenders, and HSBC Bank USA serves as administrative agent.
Single-draw availability runs to Nov. 16, 2026, or earlier on acquisition closing or certain termination events.
Use of proceeds and terms
Proceeds are earmarked to fund the June 16, 2026 acquisition from Yum! Brands or related fees and expenses.
The loan bears CNH HIBOR-based interest, estimated at about 2% per year. The initial maturity is 180 days post-funding, extendable to 364 days.
