Zai Lab publishes ESMO presentation on zoci in small cell lung cancer
ZLAB•Zai Lab published its ESMO 2026 investor presentation, reporting an 81.8% response rate and 81.9% six-month progression-free survival rate for zoci plus atezolizumab in 33 patients. The company plans a randomized Phase 3 trial of the doublet as first-line treatment.

Zai Lab’s presentation reported that zoci at 1.6 mg/kg with atezolizumab achieved an 81.8% response rate and an 81.9% six-month progression-free survival rate in 33 patients with first-line extensive-stage small cell lung cancer. Grade 3 or higher zoci-related adverse events affected 9.1% of patients at that dose, compared with 53.8% across carboplatin-containing triplet cohorts. A randomized Phase 3 trial is planned to further evaluate the doublet as first-line treatment.
