Zapata Quantum names Peter Shor, three other scientists to scientific advisory board
ZPTA•Zapata Quantum appointed Peter Shor and three other scientists to its Scientific Advisory Board on Oct. 20, 2026. The members will advise on scientific and technical direction, including development of the Quantum Pilot platform.
1. New board members
The appointees are MIT mathematics professor Peter Shor, Aalto University associate professor Alexandru Paler, University of Technology Sydney professor Simon Devitt, and University of Toronto professor Artur Izmaylov. They will advise Zapata Quantum on scientific and technical direction, including development of its Quantum Pilot quantum applications platform.
