Zcash ETF adds Anchorage Digital as additional ZEC custodian
ZCSH•The Zcash ETF entered a custody services agreement with Anchorage Digital Bank on Sept. 29, 2026, adding a second custodian for some of its ZEC holdings. Coinbase Custody remains the primary custodian, and the agreement requires at least $100 million in aggregate insurance coverage.

Anchorage Digital Bank will hold private keys in U.S.-based hardware security modules and may suspend services during a Zcash fork. The sponsor retains discretion over how much ZEC is held with each custodian; the move is described as a risk-management step tied to the trust’s growing size.
