Hong Kong’s five universities secured spots in the QS World University top 100, with HKU at 11th and CUHK up 14 places to 18th, supported by expanded admission and research capacity measures.

At the 2026 International Automotive and Supply Chain Expo, Zeekr announced it has exceeded 800,000 cumulative global deliveries and detailed its expansion strategy for the flagship ZEEKR 9X and ZEEKR 009 Grand models. The plan includes specific target regions, planned increases in manufacturing capacity, and new distribution partnerships to accelerate market penetration.
2. Hong Kong Universities Achieve Top QS Rankings
Five Hong Kong universities entered the 2027 QS World University top 100, led by The University of Hong Kong at 11th and The Chinese University of Hong Kong rising to 18th place. The government has raised non-local student admission ceilings to 50% and increased postgraduate over-enrolment capacity to 120% to strengthen research output and attract international talent.
