ZenaTech targets first-quarter 2027 flight tests for ZenaDrone 2000 interceptor
ZENA•ZenaTech expects flight testing of its ZenaDrone 2000 heavy-lift counter-drone prototype to begin in the first quarter of 2027. It targets more than four hours of hover endurance with a 40 kg payload capacity.
1. Prototype testing plans
The airframe and folding arms are complete, and the gasoline propulsion system with 36-inch propellers has passed bench testing. Flight controls and autonomy software are undergoing ground testing before flight validation of payload performance, endurance and 360-degree detection.
2. Further tests planned
Later testing will assess coordinated interception with the Interceptor P-1, which is already in flight testing, as well as maritime launch and recovery.
