ZenaTech’s ZenaDrone completed a Version 1 prototype of the IQ Octo autonomous spraying and seeding drone for its Drone as a Service offering.
Field testing is set to start in the coming weeks at the Arizona facility.
The battery-powered octocopter targets 20-25 minutes of flight time per charge with payload capacity up to 25 kilograms.
Version 2 is expected to add solar panel maintenance capability, swarm features, automated refilling, and a folding design.
