ZenaTech Unveils 155g AI-Enabled LED Camera for IQ Nano Drones with 20-30 Prototype Units
ZENA•ZenaTech developed a 155-gram AI-enabled LED camera system for its IQ Nano indoor drone platform, with a prototype undergoing testing at its Sharjah, UAE facility and 20-30 additional units in production. The integrated system enhances low-light barcode scanning, asset tracking and anomaly detection for commercial inventory and defense security operations.
1. New AI-Enabled LED Camera System
ZenaTech’s Spider Vision Sensors subsidiary in Taiwan has engineered a 155-gram camera module combining advanced imaging, integrated LED illumination and onboard AI analytics. This system is designed to enhance the IQ Nano platform’s low-light capabilities, enabling precise barcode scanning, anomaly detection and operational reporting in dimly lit environments.
2. Prototype Testing and Production
Prototype camera units are currently undergoing evaluation at ZenaTech’s Sharjah, UAE facility, with an additional 20-30 modules in production. These units will support expanded trials and prepare the IQ Nano platform for future deployments across commercial and defense settings.
3. Commercial and Defense Applications
The enhanced IQ Nano indoor drone platform leverages the new vision system to automate warehouse inventory management, security inspections and logistics operations. Its GPS-denied navigation, obstacle avoidance and AI analytics enable secure surveillance of armories, depots and other restricted facilities.
4. Strategic Growth Implications
This development aligns with ZenaTech’s DaaS roll-up strategy, targeting scalable recurring revenue through AI drone solutions. The upgraded IQ Nano platform supports the company’s expansion in industrial, government and defense markets across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
