ZenaTech Unveils IQ Quad Drone with 45-Minute Flight Time and 5 km Range
ZenaTech launched the AI-enabled ZenaDrone IQ Quad VTOL drone with 45-minute flight time, 5 km range and high-resolution sensor compatibility for surveying in construction and urban planning. It will deploy initially at US DaaS sites before global rollouts as analysts forecast 19% annual growth to an $11 billion market by 2033.
1. ZenaTech Unveils Autonomous VTOL Drone for Surveying
ZenaTech has introduced the ZenaDrone IQ Quad, an AI-enabled, autonomous VTOL quadcopter engineered for rapid, high-precision land surveying. Developed by its wholly owned subsidiary ZenaDrone, the IQ Quad integrates advanced machine-learning algorithms for obstacle detection and terrain following, targeting construction, urban planning, infrastructure development and public-works clients within its Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) platform.
2. Robust Specifications Drive Operational Versatility
The IQ Quad offers a flight endurance of up to 45 minutes and a control range extending 5 kilometers. Its modular payload bay accommodates 2 to 3 kilograms of interchangeable high-resolution sensors, including 4K RGB cameras, LiDAR arrays, multispectral and thermal imagers. A carbon-fiber fuselage resists harsh weather, while 360-degree situational cameras and autonomous recharge capability via docking station minimize field support requirements.
3. Phased Rollout to Expand Global DaaS Network
In the coming weeks, ZenaTech will deploy the IQ Quad to selected DaaS sites for in-situ trials, with a broader release across its existing network of 19 U.S. locations and three international hubs by mid-year. The company plans to integrate the new platform into subscription-based service offerings, enhancing its vertical integration and driving predictable, recurring revenue streams in both public and private sector contracts.
4. Market Growth Projections Bolster Revenue Potential
Industry analysts forecast the drone-based surveying market to grow at over 19% annual CAGR, from $2 billion today to more than $11 billion by 2033. A wider geospatial services sector is expected to surpass $50 billion within a decade as drone data and advanced analytics displace manual workflows. ZenaTech’s combined DaaS and proprietary hardware strategy positions it to capture a significant share of this expanding market and improve operating leverage over time.
