Zephyr Energy’s 20.9-Mile Paradox Pipeline Inspection Validates Integrity, Enabling First Gas
ENB•Zephyr Energy completed a 20.9-mile in-line inspection of the Enbridge-operated Paradox pipeline, confirming structural integrity at operating pressure with no repairs required and four short sections flagged for visual checks. The milestone clears the way for formal regulatory approval and advances preparations for first gas exports from the Utah project.
1. In-line Inspection Confirms Pipeline Integrity
Zephyr Energy’s specialist team completed a comprehensive in-line inspection covering 20.9 miles of its pipeline to the Northwest system, supervised by Enbridge staff. The evaluation confirmed the pipeline’s structural soundness at current pressure levels with no repairs required and identified four short sections for routine visual checks.
2. Regulatory Approval Process
Completion of the inspection allows Zephyr to formally initiate the regulatory approval process needed to increase operating pressure and secure authorization for gas transportation. Management will await feedback on the review schedule before setting a definitive timeline for first gas exports from the Paradox project.
3. Project Development Plans
Parallel initiatives continue with the company planning to finalize the design and capacity of its gas processing solution in the coming weeks. Zephyr is also evaluating additional well locations and farm-out opportunities to support long-term production growth and asset-level funding.
