Zhibao Deploys Embedded Insurance Beta to 20M Tianfu Citizen’s Cloud Users
ZBAO•Zhibao Technology launched beta deployment of its PaaS-based low-affinity digital insurance solution on Tianfu Citizen’s Cloud, extending reach to nearly 20 million users under a three-year cooperation agreement signed June 30. It includes flagship Huiminbao medical insurance and other P&C products, bolstering Zhibao’s 2B2C embedded ecosystem in Chengdu.
1. Beta Deployment on Tianfu Citizen’s Cloud
On June 30, Zhibao’s subsidiary Sunshine Insurance Brokers launched a beta deployment of its PaaS-based low-affinity digital insurance solution on Tianfu Citizen’s Cloud, Chengdu’s one-stop civic services platform with nearly 20 million registered users. The initiative marks the first live test of Zhibao’s embedded insurance technology in a smart city environment.
2. Three-Year Cooperation Agreement Terms
Zhibao and Tianfu Citizen’s Cloud signed a three-year cooperation agreement to integrate digital insurance services into the platform, granting access to localized traffic channels, mini-program marketing interfaces, and user data insights. The partnership requires strict adherence to data security regulations and outlines joint development of customized insurance offerings.
3. Multi-Product Embedded Insurance Offerings
Initial product offerings include the flagship Huiminbao inclusive medical insurance, with potential additions of Huijiabao homeowner coverage and other individual property and casualty plans. Zhibao’s Sunshine Insurance Brokers will handle R&D, operational management, data strategy, and carrier negotiations to tailor solutions for Chengdu’s tech-savvy demographic.
4. Expansion of Zhibao’s 2B2C Ecosystem
This deployment advances Zhibao’s 2B2C embedded insurance model by leveraging a high-growth market in Chengdu, a megacity with over 21.4 million residents and a 2025 GDP of USD 342 billion. The collaboration is expected to enhance Zhibao’s ecosystem scalability, drive future revenue streams, and validate its PaaS-driven fintech platform.
