Zip selects Google Cloud to build AI-native product factory with Gemini Enterprise
Zip Co. selected Google Cloud to build an AI-native product development platform for its US business using Gemini Enterprise. The technology will also power its Zia customer-facing AI assistant and support development of an open-source framework for trust in AI-initiated commerce.

Zip Co. selected Google Cloud to build an AI-native product development platform for its US business using Gemini Enterprise. The platform aims to support faster product launches, parallel workflows, lower incremental build costs, and tighter security, governance, traceability and accountability.
2. Customer AI and trust
Gemini Enterprise is also set to power Zia, Zip’s customer-facing AI assistant, to expand agentic features in its consumer products. Zip is co-creating the Unified Trust Layer, an open-source framework intended to make trust measurable and portable in AI-initiated commerce.
