zSpace Deploys 22 AR/VR Units in Italian School, Gains Presidential Spotlight

zSpace has implemented 22 Inspire AR/VR laptops in Italy’s I.C. Carducci–Trezza and collaborated with L’ABCD Edutainment since 2017 to scale deployments across K–12 and higher-education programs. A research study on workplace safety training and a demonstration at the University of Naples during Italy’s presidential visit underscore rising national adoption.

1. Classroom Deployment in Salerno

At I.C. Carducci–Trezza in Cava de’ Tirreni, zSpace deployed 22 Inspire AR/VR laptops in a full-class mathematics lesson, using immersive 3D visualization to drive high student participation and deeper conceptual understanding.

2. Educator-Led Training Programs

In partnership with L’ABCD Edutainment since 2017, zSpace introduced courses on 3D graphics and augmented reality to lower secondary schools across Italy, aiming to foster creativity, active learning, and foundational STEM skills.

3. University Research Initiative

Engineer and educator Ing. Raffaele Palladino launched a study on using zSpace for maintenance operator training, evaluating immersive learning’s impact on spatial understanding, procedural efficiency, and safety awareness in technical environments.

4. National Presidential Recognition

During a visit by Italy’s president to the University of Naples Federico II medical complex, zSpace technology was featured in advanced training labs, highlighting government-level endorsement of its immersive education platform.
