TXG•Jury verdict and damages award
10x Genomics won a U.S. jury verdict finding Parse Biosciences willfully infringed three Scale Biosciences patents licensed from Roche Sequencing Solutions.
The jury rejected Parse’s invalidity challenge, upholding the patents as valid and enforceable in the District of Delaware case.
Damages were set at over $4.8 million on a 14% royalty for Evercode Whole Transcriptome sales from February 2021 through June 30, 2026.
Post-trial requests are expected to seek enhanced damages, attorneys’ fees, and a permanent U.S. injunction against further infringement.
