The settlement totals about $670 million, avoiding continued appeals or paying about $600 million tied to the Gill judgment and interest.
A St. Louis jury awarded $495 million in July 2024; an appeal filed in December 2024 was denied.
Roughly 1,700 lawsuits remain pending, covering claims on behalf of about 12,700 infants.
