AC Immune Secures $4M Grant to Extend Phase 2 Trial of ACI-7104
ACIU•AC Immune received a $4 million grant from the Vijay and Marie Goradia Charitable Foundation to extend Part 1 of its Phase 2 VacSYn trial of anti-alpha-synuclein immunotherapy ACI-7104 in early Parkinson’s disease by two years. Final Part 1 safety and efficacy data are expected in H2 2026.

AC Immune has secured a $4 million grant from the Vijay and Marie Goradia Charitable Foundation to fund an additional two-year extension of Part 1 of its Phase 2 VacSYn trial of ACI-7104 in early Parkinson’s disease.
2. Extension Objectives and Timeline
The extension will focus on long-term safety, efficacy, and antibody durability through week 104, with final Part 1 data slated for release in H2 2026 to inform potential disease-modifying impact in prodromal and early PD.
3. ACI-7104 Mechanism and Interim Results
ACI-7104 is an optimized active immunotherapy targeting pathological alpha-synuclein aggregates; December 2025 interim results showed a favorable safety profile, robust antibody responses, evidence of target engagement, and preliminary clinical signals suggesting slowed disease progression.
