On Feb 24, Accenture agreed to acquire Verum Partners, a Belo Horizonte-based infrastructure and capital projects firm with 180 employees, to integrate its AI and digital tools with field execution expertise for faster, more efficient Latin American industrial projects. This deepens its Infrastructure & Capital Projects practice in the region.
1. Acquisition Details
On Feb 24, Accenture agreed to acquire Verum Partners, a Belo Horizonte-based firm founded in 2017 that employs over 180 specialists in infrastructure and capital projects management. While financial terms were not disclosed, the acquisition adds Verum’s field execution expertise across mining, metals, transportation, logistics, chemicals and energy to Accenture’s service portfolio.
2. Integration and Strategic Rationale
Accenture plans to combine Verum’s on-site execution capabilities with its digital and AI-driven solutions to reduce inefficiencies, minimize rework and accelerate project commissioning. This integration will support clients through the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, from early feasibility and engineering through construction, commissioning and operational handover.
3. Regional Expansion
The deal follows Accenture’s majority stake purchase in US-based DLB Associates and underscores its strategy to scale the Infrastructure & Capital Projects practice in Latin America. Verum’s strong local presence and field expertise are expected to strengthen Accenture’s ability to deliver complex industrial megaprojects more efficiently across the region.
