ACI Worldwide Expands Connetic to Eight US Payment Networks
ACI Worldwide expanded its cloud-native Connetic platform to support eight major US payment networks, including Fedwire, CHIPS, Swift, RTP, Zelle and FedNow. Nacha ACH connectivity will launch next year, and the platform’s stablecoin and tokenised-deposit features consolidate traditional, instant and digital-asset payment rails into one SaaS solution.
1. Expansion to Eight US Payment Networks
ACI Worldwide has extended Connetic to connect eight US payment networks: Fedwire, CHIPS, Swift, The Clearing House RTP, Zelle and FedNow. This expansion addresses banks’ need for unified connectivity across multiple real-time and high-value rails.
2. Key Platform Capabilities and Roadmap
The platform includes stablecoin and tokenised-deposit support and will add Nacha ACH connectivity next year. As a cloud-native SaaS solution, Connetic aims to simplify compliance, fraud monitoring and exception management across diverse payment systems.
3. Industry Adoption and Operational Impact
Adoption of real-time rails is growing, with nearly 1,700 FedNow participants and The Clearing House RTP processing $1.3 trillion in 2025. By consolidating multiple networks into one platform, ACI seeks to reduce the operational duplication faced by banks running parallel instant-payment systems.
