Adient Launches ProForce Massage Flow for Two Chinese OEM Models
Adient is commercializing its ProForce Massage Flow solution with moving modules that expand lower-back coverage and is set for mass production on two Chinese OEM models. The platform-based modular design supports front and rear seats with two- and four-head quick-install modules integrating safety reset, heating, ventilation and lumbar support to accelerate OEM development.
1. ProForce Flow Commercialization
Adient has advanced its mechanical massage portfolio by commercializing the ProForce Massage Flow solution, building on last year’s platform launch. The Flow version is scheduled for production on two Chinese OEM models, reflecting Adient’s ability to move from innovation to mass-production execution.
2. Enhanced Massage Coverage
The new solution features moving modules that significantly expand coverage to key lower-back muscle groups. Users can select kneading, tapping and rolling techniques individually or in combination for a dynamic, customizable massage experience.
3. Platform-Based Modular Design
A spring-mounted, platform-based structure enables broad seat-frame compatibility across front and rear seats, including those with integrated ABS. Available in two-head and four-head configurations, the design allows quick-install modularity and shortens OEM development cycles.
4. Mass-Production Validated Technologies
Flow inherits core technologies from the Focus solution already validated in multiple mass-production vehicles. It delivers higher force than pneumatic systems, features a resettable safety mechanism, integrates lumbar support, heating and ventilation, and uses wear-resistant materials for long-term durability.
