ADM•ADM to expand Boone County natural color production
ADM said it will invest more than $16 million to expand naturally derived color production at its Boone County, Kentucky facility.
The project will add 14,000 square feet of manufacturing space, with new production capabilities targeted for early 2027. ADM said the expansion will increase liquid and dry-blended color capacity for its Colors From Nature portfolio to help meet rising clean-label demand.
The company said the project is expected to create more than 40 salaried and hourly jobs. It follows a recent $26 million investment at the nearby Erlanger site.
ADM said North American natural color conversion opportunity exceeds $1 billion, driven by shifts away from artificial colors.
