Adobe names new CEO effective Dec. 1, 2026

Adobe named Anil Chakravarthy as president and CEO, effective Dec. 1, 2026, with a board seat.

Shantanu Narayen will move to executive chair on Dec. 1, 2026.

Chakravarthy leads Adobe’s Customer Experience Orchestration business and worldwide field operations.

He joined Adobe in January 2020 to run Digital Experience, later added worldwide field operations, then became president of Digital Experience in December 2021.

Earlier, he served as CEO of Informatica, with prior executive roles at Symantec, VeriSign, and McKinsey.
