Archer Aviation entered an exclusive multi-year partnership with AEG to develop a vertiport at L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles.
The deal makes Archer the exclusive air taxi provider for the sports and entertainment district, a key node in its planned Los Angeles network.
The project supports Archer’s buildout ahead of the LA28 Games, where it is the Official Air Taxi Provider of LA28 and Team USA.
The partners completed an initial feasibility study; the next phase covers operations planning, guest experience, power, airspace, land use, and community impact.
Archer plans to use BETA Technologies chargers at the site under its ACES consortium to standardize charging for air taxi operations.
