AER•AerCap discusses possible Boeing 787 purchases
July 19 (Reuters) - Aircraft leasing company AerCap Holdings NV AER.N is in discussions at the Farnborough Airshow in the UK about buying Boeing BA.N 787 Dreamliner aircraft, Bloomberg News reported on Sunday, citing people familiar with the matter.
AerCap, the world’s largest aircraft leasing company, is considering purchasing as many as 15 of the U.S. planemaker’s widebody 787s, the report added.
